Bryant Community Heroes
The Bryant Community Heroes program celebrates local heroes who make a significant impact in their communities. Nominated by fellow community members, these heroes are recognized for their outstanding contributions. Winners received a Bryant HVAC system, installed by Countryside Heating and Cooling Solutions, free of charge.
2020 Community Hero – Connie P.
Connie and her therapy dogs could be found visiting veterans at the Minneapolis VA Health Care Center, visiting local hospitals, nursing homes and senior housing facilities. The pair also promotes literacy by having children read to her dog at local schools and libraries. The therapy team has participated in hundreds of events, logged more than 3,000 volunteer hours and lifted the spirits of over 16,000 people. She is also an evaluator of therapy animals for Pet Partners.
2018 Community Hero – Chris D.
Chris is a volunteer firefighter in our community. He has saved countless lives, delivered babies, jumped in frozen lakes and of course put out many fires. He puts his own life at risk to help those in need. He has bragged about donating over 5 gallons of his own blood over the years. He always offers to show kids around the firetrucks. He is a very well respected in our community and the true definition of a community hero.
2016 Community Hero – Fritz W.
Countryside Heating and Cooling Solutions of Maple Plain, Minnesota selected Fritz Wright as their 2016 Bryant Community Heroes winner! Fritz is an active member of his community, who is always willing to jump in and help those around him. He never asks for anything in return and truly makes the world around him a better place to be!
